Here's my spread complete with the very first Haiku poem I ever wrote. I remember trying to convince my teacher that "squirrel" is two syllables, but she wasn't buying it! (Thus, chipmunk)
I have remembered this poem every autumn since I composed it in 5th grade, and even though I've never heard a chipmunk chatter, it still puts a smile on my face and prompts me to write more Haiku.
I hope you'll give this spread a try and enjoy an autumn stroll, collecting leaves and "Happy Creating!"
Love it - especially the chattering chipmunks! Wish I could remember the first haiku I ever wrote. Hmm... saying that reminds me that I *may* still have some of my old high school poetry around here somewhere :)
